Residents noticed the area surrounding Heath Road Park has been a little neglected. The park itself is usually clean and tidy and the kids love playing there. The twirly slide especially gets lots of praise! But the flower beds outside the park have become overgrown with weeds and were full of litter.

We found out that sadly Norfolk County Council no longer have a budget for flower bed maintenance, but a few residents are keen to help out with weeding and planting. Some of us met up to litter pick the area, and the next step is to arrange a day for weeding and planting!

If you would like to join in and help out please let us know! Also if you’re someone who lives near the park and would like to help with the ongoing maintenance of the flowerbeds once they’ve been replanted, your help would be greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
