At Christmas, I did a cheeky ask at Hill construction‘s Christmas carols and asked if they could possibly help us with removing 100 metres of historic fencing at our local park. They kindly agreed.

Today Hill came with their 360 machine, skip and 3 labours. This is going to transform our park for the wildlife and community. We are very grateful for their help. These fences have been here since at least the 70’s and are an eyesore as well as dangerous. Our Norwich City Council sadly didn’t have the funds. So we got together as a community group, working alongside NCC and made this happen as a team! Special thanks to the park officer Richard Green and community enabler Emma Penfold at NCC. Thank you for your patience when we get frustrated and for helping us overcome problems.

This project only happened because of our community group. If you want to get involved. Find us on FB or email us.
